Exhaler
A kinetic piece for visual stimming. When you breathe on the reflective elements or walk past them, they move and shimmer in response. Uses shimmer and motion, similar to the effect of looking at water in sunlight. Biophilic design using a circular border that calms.
Engages visual and proprioceptive senses (for example, you can physically see the glitter squares move from the force of the breath you expel).
Prototype 2

A larger version was prototyped in cardboard to see if the experience could be more immersive. Joinery was experimented with, and the flower seams were favoured over dovetail joints.
